Geoffrey
Parker is is a partner at Emeraldwise, Professor of Management
Science at the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane
University, Director of the Tulane Energy Institute, and a visiting
research scientist at MIT. Geoff's
research focuses on distributed product development and the
economics of platform design and pricing. He has published widely,
including
Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Strategic
Management Journal, and
Management Science. Geoff received his Ph.D. in Management
Science from the MIT Sloan School of Management, M.S. in Electrical
Engineering in the Technology and Policy Program at the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and B.S. in Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University. Formerly
an electrical engineer and financial analyst at GE, Geoff completed
the General Electric Company Financial Management Training Program.
